In my opinion the music is better in the music video version than in the actual album. But anyway, great song. And Madonna is beautiful as always
Yes Finally the Shep Pettibone Remix Version
I first saw the remix version of the video on MTV, never saw the video with the original album version until The Immaculate Collection VHS, I was bummed. And subsequent collections use the original album version. This is my favorite Madonna video and I love love love the song--the original extended version mix rocks and loved the album version. When I saw this and heard the remix I was out of my mind. Took me awhile to track the remixes down on CD but had them on my Remixed Prayers Japanese CD that had both Like A Prayer and Express Yourself.

Madonna at her prime, announcing the end of the 80s and the arrival of the 90s. So much symbolism and iconography - and one of her very best songs. Absolutely gorgeous. It’s still current today. As always, she’s a masterful manipulator of imagery, with respectful nods to the culture from which she’s appropriating these visuals.
Everything about it is captivating from start to finish. Now, to find the 12”.
Absolutely gorgeous and beautiful.
Worth watch repeatedly. Brilliant in every aspect and the song itself is great, but I particularly love the color design and the way the video captures Madonna's perfect muscles in her back. One of the best of the best music videos of all time still in 2015.
This video is directed by David Fincher if you did not know.
Love this one of the best Madonna songs.
One of her best!
Ps what's up with the cat?!?!
Actually, Express Yourself (1989) was the most expensive video done at that time... Loved then because this version use the electronic percussion that will used solely next year in Vogue...
Just one review? Are you kidding me?
This has to be one of Madonna's greatest videos
